Sugar Cubed welcome drinks and registration
Monday 28 April
- Sugar Cubed Field trip - buses leave Rydges at 7.30am and return at 4.30pm 
Monday 28 April - Sugar Cubed Gala Dinner commences at 6.00pm - buses leaving Rydges from 5.30pm
Tuesday 29 April
- Sugar Cubed 8.45am for a 9.00am start with a conclusion at 5.30pm. Closing drinks in conjunction with ASSCT networking drinks at the venue from 5.30pm

Sugar Cubed: Growth for Generations kicks off with a keynote address from Australian cricket legend and McGrath Foundation President Glenn McGrath This will be followed by: 

Session 1: Where Does Growth Come From? This session will explore global agricultural growth through insights from the CSIRO Ag 2050 Program and a market perspective from Czarnikow Trading. Followed by a morning tea break.

Session 2: Opportunities for Growth will feature a panel discussion and Q&A covering key topics such as sustainable sugar supply chains, challenges in farming systems, renewable energy and co-generation from Australian Sugar Manufacturers, and the role of sustainable aviation fuel and biofuels presented by Airbus. Lunch and networking at the ASSCT Trade Display will follow.

The afternoon will continue with insights on Philanthropy and Succession Planning from Morgans Investment.

Session 3: What Do the Generations Think? will bring together speakers from across the industry, including SRA researchers, AgTech innovators from the University of Queensland, and grower perspectives on leadership renewal, diversification, and industry collaboration. After an afternoon tea break and trade display, CANEGROWERS CEO Dan Galligan will provide a brief wrap-up, followed by an inspiring keynote from Warren Davies, "The Unbreakable Farmer." The day will conclude with closing remarks from CANEGROWERS Chair Owen Menkens and networking drinks in partnership with ASSCT will follow.
